Terrace Meridian Tower is envisioned as a vertical landscape rising from the dense urban grid, merging monumental architectural massing with a sequence of stepped, garden-like terraces. The building’s sculpted concrete volumes anchor the structure with a strong civic presence, while the layered platforms introduce a sense of horizontality that softens its scale. Designed to capture the warm light of the Midwest skyline, the tower integrates planted courtyards, elevated walkways and sheltered outdoor rooms that enrich the experience of high-rise living. Its bold geometry recalls elements of late-modernist tectonics, reinterpreted here with a focus on livability, environmental performance and urban connectivity.
The aerial view reveals the tower’s interlocking terraces, each planted with trees and low vegetation that cascade upward in a series of green plateaus. Warm lighting traces the edges of the platforms, emphasising the stepped composition as evening settles over the city.
The central vertical form rises decisively from this landscaped base, its curved concrete silhouette catching the last light of sunset. At street level, broad plazas and sheltered entries anchor the building within the urban grid, while elevated gardens appear as calm, suspended landscapes above the traffic and movement below.
